Founded in 1993 by David A. Bower, P.E., P.S. and Christopher R. Bower, P.E., Diversified Engineering, Inc. is a family owned and operated consulting engineering firm located in New Philadelphia, Ohio. We are committed to growth by building honest, sincere, long-lasting relationships with clients.
Today, Chris Bower serves as president of DEI and remains hands-on in the management of the firm and all of its projects. His years of engineering and design experience range from municipal engineering and commercial site development, to design and implementation of the plans and specifications for projects.
Chris is also responsible for project management, civil engineering design, structural design and analysis, cost estimating, plan and specification review, and report preparation.

Experience is a given. But more than that, we continue to build our business – one client at a time – with a focus on building and sustaining relationships with each client, working as a partner rather than an outside resource.
Many of our first clients continue to utilize our services to this day for their engineering and surveying needs. We feel this is a direct reflection of our commitment to providing a high-quality service by listening and responding to the needs of our clients and delivering services on time and on budget.
Fulfilling our promise to understand each client’s industry and projects, our dedicated staff of professional surveyors, engineers and field technicians maintain an up-to-date focus on providing a full range of appropriate services.
